The ICOM IC-7000 is the latest IF-DSP based HF radio from Icom. It is roughly the same size as the wildly popular IC-706 series. It features DSP at the IF level. In fact, the 7000 employs two DSP chips to work its magic. Imagine having 41 bandwidths available – standard! You can even select sharp or soft filter shape. And variable twin PBT allows you to either narrow the IF passband, or shift the entire passband to eliminate QRM. All the controls are intuitive to use. The high resolution 4.9 inch TFT color dot matrix LCD display provides more operating information than you’ve ever had before, including a spectrum scope (± 12.5, ± 25, ± 50 or ± 100 kHz).
